About the group

Nineteen years of building hospitals.

MedicSupport Network owns and operates hospitals and clinics across Africa and Asia. We opened our first facility in Ghana in 2007. We now run 18 across 6 countries, employ approximately 7,799 people, and second our own clinicians to hospitals in Europe and America.

How the group grew

We have opened a hospital in most years since 2007. The pattern is not accidental — we build where a region has no dependable care, and we expand existing sites before we open new ones.

How we run it

One standard, not eighteen

Every facility runs to the same clinical and governance standard, set once at group level. A clinician should not get a different hospital because they were sent to a different country.

We publish what we checked

Every clinician we employ is verified against their registering body, and the resulting record is publicly checkable by anyone, without an account. A credential we have not confirmed is never marked as verified.

The employer stays the employer

When one of our clinicians works in a hospital abroad, we remain their employer. It is the only arrangement that leaves somebody accountable when something goes wrong.

Open a hospital where the gap is

Most of our sites were not opened because the market was attractive. They were opened because a region had no dependable secondary or emergency care and we could stand one up.

Group leadership

Accountability sits with named officers. These are the roles that hold it.

Group Chief Executive

Accountable for the group as a whole: strategy, capital allocation across territories, and the relationship with every licensing authority we operate under.

Group Clinical Director

Owns the clinical standard applied across every facility. Chairs the group clinical governance forum, which sets policy once and applies it in Accra and in Manchester alike.

Group Director of Nursing

Nursing workforce across the group: recruitment into our own hospitals, retention, practice development, and the standard of care on every ward.

Group Operations Director

Runs the facilities. Estates, equipment, supply chain, information systems, and the operational reporting each hospital returns to the centre.

Group Director of Quality and Patient Safety

Credential verification, incident reporting, audit and accreditation. Runs the checks behind every MedicSupport-issued credential record.

Head of International Secondment

Responsible for placements into Europe and America: matching clinicians to receiving hospitals, destination regulator requirements, and the support that keeps a placement working.

Governance, registration and accounts.

Clinical governance documentation, group structure, registration evidence for any of our facilities and audited financial information are provided on request.
