The short version
This website does not set any cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising technology, no social-media trackers, no fingerprinting, and no third-party marketing scripts. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.
Why there is no banner
A consent banner exists to let visitors refuse tracking that requires consent. Since we collect no such data, adding a banner would be misleading: it would imply we track people when we do not. We will add one, and change this page, if that ever ceases to be true.
What we do not do
- No analytics packages (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, Fathom or similar).
- No advertising, retargeting or conversion pixels.
- No social media embeds or share widgets that would phone home when you read a page.
- No consent-management platform writing to
localStorage. - No canvas, audio or font-based fingerprinting.
- No cross-site or cross-page tracking of your reading.
What is stored on your device
Nothing. This site does not write to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or the Cache API for its own purposes.
Server logs
Like any web server, the platform that hosts this site records request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, response status — in order to serve the site, detect abuse, and diagnose faults. These are server logs, not cookies, and they are not used to build a profile of you or to follow you elsewhere. They are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
Embedded content and third parties
Where a page embeds or links to another organisation's service — for example a professional register — that organisation's own privacy terms apply once you follow the link. We do not embed third-party content that would track you without your action.
Fonts
Typography is served from our own asset host. No request is made to a font provider that would reveal your visit to them.
If this changes
If we introduce cookies or similar storage that requires consent, this page will be updated first, and a consent banner will appear before any such technology is set. Until then, this page is the accurate description of what the site does.
